It includes numerous safety features, such as the extra deep steps with fully enclosed risers and a deep landing at the bottom allow children to easily navigate the stairs without tripping. The divider window panel between the stairs and slide prevent children from climbing onto the slide or interfering with children while sliding. The hand rails on both sides of the stairs helps provide stability and creates a natural separation between children as the enter and exit the platform on the stairs.
The clear polycarbonate windows around the entire platform and clear openings underneath, with cutouts beneath the slide and stairs, allows for visibility throughout and easy supervision. The extra high panels on the platform and stairs helps eliminate climbing or falls off the loft.
The arched safety panel placed above the slide entrance along with the lower handles promotes safety while allowing the child to grasp the handles and sit to exit via the slide. This no-header design helps to prevent children from being pushed or running down the slide. The extra high slide sides helps protect children who choose to climb up the slide. While the loft should always be supervised and this practice prevented, if a child were to climb up the slide, they typically bend forward and grasp the sides for balance, greatly reducing the chance of falling backwards and seriously injuring themselves.
