The Super Active Fiber Optic Bundle puts light and color right onto a lap of the palm of a hand. It provides yet another great way to develop color recognition and cause & effect skills.
Press one of the eight colors on the wireless controller and the fiber optics will change to that color.
Wonderfully tactile, the fiber optics can be laid across a person's lap to create a close, hands-on experience.
The unit can be used for social interaction, color recognition, and color matching, and can be used in a sensory room, in a hospital or nursing home or in almost any environment.
Its calming mode with slowly changing colors can be used for relaxation or de-escalation for individuals with Dementia. This calming mode automatically starts if no button is activated for a period of 5 minutes.
Operates on low voltage with the supplied transformer, which requires 110v AC power. There is no electricity in the fiber optics, only light, which means the user can safely get close to the product.
The unit is designed to be portable, but the light source must be kept out of a child's reach.
The wireless controller is battery operated (batteries included) and operates from a distance of up to 90'.
