This mask is available for children and adults. It provides a perfect solution for front line workers, families and both the staff and children who are going back to school. These wonderful masks are made of a two layer 100% cotton with an African wax print fabric pattern. The skin-friendly, soft cotton lining, allows for a comfortable and breathable wear.
Besides the two layer design, the inner layer forms a pocket, designed to store a disposable PM2.5 filter. A PM2.5 filter provides similar filtration to an N95. This filter helps to protect against respiratory droplets & aerosol transmissions. While it doesn't cover 100% of the mask area, it fits into a large pocket inside the mask and provides more protection than a non-filtered mask.
The filter is a disposable and cannot be washed. We recommend changing out the filter every 7 days. The two layer cotton mask may be used without a filter, however the filter does provide additional protection.
While no mask provides 100% protection, the addition of this 5 layer filter provides superior protection over many other masks. One filter is included with each mask, so order as many additional filters as you need to maintain the optimal protective benefits.
The mask includes comfortable, white elastic hanging earbuds, with an easily adjustable button, to provide a snug fit for comfort and safety.
