The Marimba ‘Stream’ is an outdoor musical instrument in the idiophone family. This very awesome commercial playground musical instrument is ideal for preschoolers through senior citizens of all abilities. The inspirational instrument is a perfect complement to a well equipped musical garden in a daycare, children's museum, school, rehab center, nursing home and many other musical outdoor play environments.

It consists of a set of seven aluminum tubes, which resonate with soft sound, rich in harmonic tones. It's designed for one person at a time and is ideal for first time users with no musical experience or seasoned musicians. The instrument makes a set with other instruments such as a xylophone ‘echo piano’ or handpan ‘duet’.

The playing technique is very simple and intuitive & will sound perfect from the very first note to the very last note! Simply strike the middle parts of the tubes in any rhythm with the mallets. It is available in your choice of either "Lime Green" or "Red" HDPE color scheme. Measures 2'11-1/2"W x 2'1"D x 3'11"H, ages 3 years and older.

Note: The Marimba Stream is a single user instrument and includes one Mallet, attached with a vandal resistant cable. If you prefer a second mallet, please select the Additional Mallet with Cable & Post, in the drop down menu above.

The instrument can be fixed to the ground with one of two anchoring systems:

Concrete anchor – ensures a professional and stable installation of the instruments on soft surfaces (e.g. dirt, lawn, sand)
Flat anchor – the best solution to install instruments on hard surfaces (e.g. pavement or a deck)

Manufactured from:

Frames (black color) made from construction steel with 2-layer powder painting (anticorrosive + color)
Anchors steel + hot dip galvanizing for best anticorrosive resistance for parts that stay in permanent contact with the ground
Sound-producing parts (gray/silver) – aluminum + powder coated paint
High Density "HDPE" panels in a color choice of either lime green or red
