An Infant Toddler Dream Playground Structure in Natural Colors. This masterfully designed structure is engineered to be the perfect solution for the modern infant/toddler yard. It combines every safety element imaginable. It supports many early developmental skills including gross motor skills, cognitive and creative play skills, as well as social emotional skills.
It's an amazing experience to watch multiple children at their very early stages of development who play on a structure safely and co-operatively. as it was designed for. The features and layout compel children to enter and exit slowly, taking turns, preventing pushing, clashes, tripping and falls. It offers great visibility throughout for easy supervision. Children are rarely exposed to play equipment whereas their pattern of play is as safe and harmonious as it was intended to be. See how ell the children play on the "World's Greatest" video here!
The hand rails and features throughout allow crawlers to grasp a rail or feature, pull themself up to a standing position, then learn to balance. At approximately 11 - 13 months, the child will use these tracking features to safely balance themselves as they begin taking early footsteps. The rails also provide safety for older toddlers (18months+), who will naturally grasp the hand rails, slowing themself down, since they prefer the stability of the rails over running up and down the stairs and ramp.
The Dream Playground features 1-set of safe, extra deep steps with closed-off risers to support the child's mobility, providing a safe pattern of play as they balance and navigate the stairs. The width is designed to be ideal for a child to grasp one hand rail while climbing the stairs, as a second child wishing to exit down the stairs will grasp the opposing rail to step down the stairs safely and simultaneously. The extra deep landing at the bottom allows the child room to take large steps without tripping. It also creates an extra gathering space for a toddler to interact with others.
The included ramp with cleats for traction supports mobility for crawlers transitioning to walking. One of the two cruising rails on either side can be used, as support, by the child to pull themselves up, maintain balance and learn to walk up the gentle incline.
The structure also features 1-deck and 1-slide with a safety barrier above to prevent "headers" caused when a child is either pushed or chooses to run down a standard slide. This barrier requires the child to grasp the hand rails, then sit before exiting. Two steering wheels are placed closely together to promote cooperative play.
The tracking tube helps develop eye-hand coordination and supports early pre-reading skills (learning to track from left to right). The two-color texture panel with balance rail supports the development of tactile and visual perceptual skills. Indestructible Lexan windows are included throughout for great visibility from all sides of the structure. Includes a total of 3-ground level activities.
