These big, bold, beautiful bells have outstanding resonance, the bells produce deep tones which you can feel as well as hear. Each bell is 3.94" in diameter and aluminum bells range from 63" to 86" tall when installed.
The aluminum notes have an extremely high resistance to corrosion due to an anodic coating that cannot be peeled off or flake away. It is highly durable and resistant to most atmospheric attacks. Your aluminum notes or chimes can be kept clean with soapy water or a mild detergent solution followed by rinsing with clean cold water. After drying, a good household wax spray polish may be used. Grease and dirt deposits may be removed by using solvents such as white spirit in conjunction with a soft cloth or soft bristle brush. On no account should harsh abrasives be used for cleaning. As the notes are permanently exposed to some atmospheric weathering, they should be regularly cleaned, and we recommend not less than four times a year.
This set of seven chimes also comes with two metal posts, each with a large mallet attached by steel cables. There are a variety of ways that the chimes can be arranged, as the mallet posts offer a considerable amount of range. However, we recommend arranging them in a horseshoe shape to create a surround-sound effect and noticeable vibrations for anyone standing in the middle of the shape. They are Pentatonically tuned ranging from A3-C5.
Built with durable materials, designed to withstand tough environments, the center post is strengthened and the outer tubes fixed using stainless steel security screws located top and bottom. Each bell is capped to prevent debris from entering the bell and dampening the sound.
