The Note Chime Unit has six chimes, each produces a beautiful reverberating tone when struck with a mallet or by hand. The six notes are carefully tuned in the G Major Pentatonic scale, allowing children or adults to play many classic and familiar melodies.
The chimes are protected by a large frame, which is made of solid recycled plastic. This plastic is environmentally friendly, extremely durable, waterproof, and easy to clean. The frame has a simple but decorative shape which resembles a Japanese torii gate. The frame includes a large base with legs that spread out to keep the instrument perfectly stable, so that none of the sound vibrations are lost. The base allows the Note Chime Unit to be moved from place to place easily, and played on most surfaces.
