This is a 31 piece set of mainly barked blocks in a fabric bag, made in Wisconsin by the Amish with the bark securely intact. The planks (rectangular pieces) are NOT barked, however (usually one or two pieces per set).
These are unit blocks, precisely cut into 2cm increments for mathematical soundness in building. They´re based on the metric system because increments of 10 are intuitive and used by the majority of the world. Blocks are precision cut into specific lengths of 2 cm, 4 cm, 6 cm, 8 cm and 10 cm. Helps with early learning math and metric system. Ages 3+
